Honey, what's that smell?

Often times in this business we experience things that are sitcom funny. I mean we can't make this stuff up! So for today's blog, I have permission, to share a hilarious exchange with one of our VIP clients. Enjoy!

I get an email from (adored) said client that reads:

Hi Nikki,

For a while now, there has been a smell of mildew in our master bathroom (this is even after [beloved client's wife] has given it a good scrubbing) ....

We've heard stories of neighbors who have had issues with their tubs and showers due to construction related issues....

Our fear is that there could be some sort of leak and there may be puddles/leaks in the walls or under the flooring. We want to have someone take a look but we are not sure if we should call a plumber or some sort of "house inspector"

So I told her I'd reach out and ask your opinion & if you could maybe recommend someone to us.

So me being the one-stop real estate resource that I am, I sent him advice. I suggested he check with the builder because they may still be under builder warranty and I also gave him the name of a plumber to contact.

Fast forward about a week, I'm doing my follow-ups, and I send well loved client a message to see if they got to the bottom of the mildew smell in their bathroom. Wait for it... wait for it...

He responds:

So needless to say there was a lot of LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!
